The Abilene Cooper Cougars Dream season ended just short of winning the State Championship Game, as they lost to the Austin Westlake Chapparals, 55-15.  This was only the second time Cooper has made it to the State Title game.  In a miraculous effort by the Coogs, they were able to get past many top notch teams to reach the Title game. I was fortunate enough to be able to personally watch the Coogs in the 3 games that they played in Texas Stadium, as well as the Irving Nimitz game in Abilene.  The Cougars were just on fire, getting better & better each and every week.  I personally credit Head Coach Randy Allen & his coaching staff for the outstanding job they have done over the last few years.
